Under direction, performs general miscellaneous and unskilled tasks under close supervision.
Duties may include such work as moving, handling, loading and unloading, removing material, digging, mowing, trimming, and cleaning with emphasis on outside property maintenance activities.
Employee will drive for company business and must possess a valid Colorado driver’s license, personal automobile liability insurance as applicable, as well as meet Bonfils’ internal driving policies and insurability guidelines.
Assists the Facility Management Staff in the Facilities operation.
Is required to interact with contract maintenance services to assure proper operation of the facility.
Assists in the preventative maintenance program (documentation, inspection and processes).
Assists the Maintenance Technicians with daily work orders.
Assists in ensuring projects are completed in a timely manner.
Assists in duties related to maintenance and upkeep of facility.
Effectively communicates with all individuals from each of the departments, and at every organizational level.
Meets regularly as requested with the Facility Supervisor to discuss department activities and to resolve any facility problems.
Demonstrates patience and tact when dealing with donors, families, and members of the staff.
Participates in meetings as requested.
Assists in special projects as requested by Facility Supervisor.
Communicates in a direct and supportive manner with coworkers; is verbal and direct on any ideas regarding work issues; role models and supports others in expressing ideas.
This is a part time, temporary position reporting Mon-Fri 30 hours per week at our headquarters 717 Yosemite St. Pay is $11.31 to $13.44 dependent on experience.
Minimum Education Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in outdoor/landscape maintenance, preferred.
- Personal computer skills
- Drive company vehicles (insurable per Bonfils standards; valid CO license)
- Handle high stress environment
- Lift 100 lbs.
- Perform repetitive lifting of up to 20 lbs.
- Carry 50 lbs.
- Push 100 lbs.
- Pull 100 lbs.
- Walk about for up to eight hours.
- Crouch or bend over.
