General Helper:
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a General Helper who will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the plant and grounds per Unilever GMP practices. In addition, General Helpers/Utility back fill other positions in the plant when vacancies occur.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Clean the entire plant and grounds including snow removal and mowing grass.
Empty trash in all areas of the plant.
Unload egg deliveries.
Maintain Food waste truck and store food waste modules as needed.
Assist in the cleaning of all Processing related equipment – mixers, dryers,
cooling units, etc.
Support maintenance on special projects.
Responsible for taking trash to dumpster.
Make extra corrugated totes throughout shift.
Bale cardboard.
Wash trash cans.
Clean perimeter strips.
General Help is also responsible for cleaning in the following areas:
Lunchroom
Bathrooms
Lab and Kitchen
Office
3rd Floor
Flour Room and flour unloading dock
Packaging area
Warehouse
Processing
Old Shipping
Chemical and Washroom
Elevators
Stairwells
Boiler room and air compressor rooms
Conference Room
Basement
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma, or GED equivalent.
A minimum of 2 years of similar work experience.
