Job Summary
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the General Kitchen Worker position performs a variety of duties relating to patient meal services.
Minimum Qualifications
§ Education
o High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
§ Experience
o Previous experience strongly preferred.
§ Licensure and/or Certification
o None required.
§ Skills
o Demonstrated safe and sanitary working practices. o Ability to maintain confidential information.
o Ability to read, understand and follow written instructions and meal tickets.
o Excellent customer service skills.
o Ability to interact with patients, employees, family members, staff, and other customers in a positive, hospitable manner.
o Computer skills to check Hospital e-mail and perform other training and mandatory requirements.
o Ability to maintain confidential information.
o Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
