Shorebreak Hotel, a distinctive Joie de Vivre luxury hotel issearching for a talented General Manager to lead the successful Luxury Boutique Hotel in Huntington Beach - a four star hotel with impressive services, décor and facilities a cut above all other hotels in the area.
The Shorebreak Hotel epitomizes modern beach culture. With a laid back attitude and a progressive style, this hotel is a preferred destination for all who are attracted by the beach, but have outgrown the beach bum cliches, or polite, beige “sand dollar” references found in other places. This hotel caters to guests with a hunger for experience, be that a heated beach volleyball match or a tour through a modern art gallery. The Shorebreak Hotel offers an alternate definition of luxury—moving from status to depth of experience. This is a relaxed and personal vibe—like you’re staying in a friend’s beach house—but has sophisticated and edgy details that you would only find in magazines. You step inside the Shorebreak and feel like you are part of an elite club—but a club where shoes are optional.
Our ideal General Manager will be able to embrace a culture at Shorebreak Hotel that is sporty, free-spirited, relaxed, connected and edgy. Someone who is bold, inspirational, irreverent and empowering. This is an amazing opportunity to work for the "Second Best Company to Work For" in San Francisco, and build a future with a rapidly growing, progressive company that supports individuality and a respectful workplace. Joie de Vivre is highly regarded internationally as one of the originators of the boutique hotel concept and currently operates over 35 hotels and resorts throughout California, Scottsdale, and Hawaii.
