TITLE: General Manager
REPORTS TO: Chief Sales & Marketing Officer
GOAL : The General Manager reports directly to the Chief Sales & Marketing Officer, and has functional responsibility for the development, implementation, and operational management of regional field sales force, agent network management team, and agent activations. The General Manager will have full P&L responsibility for his/her assigned geographical area of responsibility. The General Manager will be responsible for developing the agent network by adding productive points of distribution necessary to serve "emerging corridor" consumers (eg. Consumers sending money to Asia, Africa, Europe etc.) as well as selling ancillary products and services (eg. Check cashing, money orders, bill payment, prepaid products, etc) to consumers through agent network.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES :
Responsible for developing and executing all strategic and tactical elements of regional plan to ensure that Sigue achieves profitable revenue growth, continues to increase market share, and develops new selling/agent management competencies
Confirm, communicate and implement goals and strategies for regional sales force and agent network management teams, and review and advise manager on directions, competitors and market trends update
Create and establish a strategic business building plan to build a highly competitive sales and agent management organization that effectively interfaces with all agents and customers of the business and integrate and execute Vital Factor strategies and tactics to drive superior sales and market share growth
Lead formulation of the overall Vital Factor plan and operating budget. Track, manage and communicate wire and agent related forecasts and results
Continue the development of the staff and teams to support strategic growth by developing and implementing training tools and processes.
Translate Sigue's business goals into strategic Vital Factor initiatives, including sales/agent management training, agent opportunity analysis, pre- and post-activation services, and agent-driven service/product feedback
Develop and implement all agent related policies, processes and activities in relation to agent activation quality and viability, and ensure compliance with applicable governmental regulations
Extensive Sales Management experience, project management skills, and supervisory skills necessary to produce work which conforms to professional standards
10+ years' of sales management experience, with a minimum of 5 years experience in banking or finance
5-7 years in a management or executive position with experience managing strategic initiatives
5 years experience in international business
Comprehensive knowledge of market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer/agent strategies
A proven track record of developing and effectively implementing sales strategies, business plans, forecasts and budgets, and achieving sales resuls in the MTS or financial services industry
Experience in recruiting and leading a major sales organization
