Cargill Beef, Milwaukee has an opportunity as a General Office Assistant. The position is responsible for distributing packaged materials for 2nd shift production while maintaining a high rate of accuracy on a $750,000 inventory. They will perform a variety of shipping, receiving, production and housekeeping tasks. This is a critical position as they are soley responsible for 2nd shift.
- 50% Pull production order requests and deliver to designated areas on time. Provide accurate details of on hand inventory and inventory in transit. Identify heavy and low turn inventory items. Keep accurate records when receiving and issuing inventory items.
- 25% Receive and unload incoming materials and compare information on packing slips with purchase orders to verify accuracy of shipment.
- 15% Full inventory verification and reporting in computer inventory system.
- 10% House keeping and checking operation of all docks doors.
High School Diploma or GED
Effective communication/comprehension skills-verbal and written
Math Skills - Ability to add, substract, multiply and divide
Basic computer skills
Ability to bend, twist, reach, stoop, reach and lift 80 lbs
Work in a hot and cold conditions
Forklift experience and inventory counting
