Generation Financial Analyst Scope of Position This position is responsible to prepare Generation segment reporting and analysis including but not limited to monthly and quarterly actual financials against budget. This position requires working closely with: members of EDF North America and EDF EN Group members of EDF-RE Financial Controlling, Planning and Analysis department EDF-RE Accounting and Consolidation Departments EDF-RE Operational Departments, including Generation Asset Management

Working Conditions 100% of the time is spent in the office environment, utilizing computers as well as other office equipment. Frequent use of phones, general office equipment and various software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite products is required. The Accounting team utilizes SAP and BOFC software.

Responsibilities
· Reporting and analysis of Generation segment actual results: validate information provided by Accounting, and data from BOFC Consolidation tool.
· Analysis compared to budget, latest reforecast, and prior year data. Although not limitative, specific focus will be put on the following :
· P&L: production, revenues, cost of sales, and other expenses by location, down to EBITDA
· P&L: analyze and interpret other aggregates from EBITDA to net income (based on data provided by Accounting and Consolidation)
· Balance sheet main indicators: capital expenditures, working capital, inventory, and debt.
· Prepare analytical reviews, analysis, appendices and reports required by EDF EN Group, including the Flash Production/Revenue/EBITDA and Installed Capacities reports.
· Provide Generation detailed expenses by location for internal reporting
· Support the monthly estimating process working with operations and accounting
· Actively support the Budgeting, Reforecast, and Mid-Term Plan process
· Support FCP&A Financial Planning for the budget process in building the Generation segment detailed P&L and Balance Sheet, including working with operations. Support preparation of corresponding BOFC packages, appendices, analytical review and assumptions required by EDF EN Group
· Support Consolidation, Accounting, and EDFEN with analyses to support the close as required such as impairment testing, estimates to actuals comparisons, etc.
· Assist with and support transition of fully constructed assets to the Generation segment.
· Develop and maintain internal segment reporting as needed.
· Make internal control recommendations.
· Respond to audit inquiries.
· Other duties as assigned by Manager Segment Reporting and Analysis and/or Director FCP&A.
Qualifications
· 3 to 5 years of experience in Finance, ideally in reporting and financial analysis.
· Confident in reporting in an international environment
· CPA certification desired
· SAP experience preferred
· Excel advanced knowledge required
· Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure and time constraints
· Quantitative and analytical skills
· Superior verbal and written communication skills that clearly convey complex information and ideas to Management
· Ability to interact and build relationships with other team members and departments
