We are seeking a detail oriented, well organized, dependable geologist with excellent interpersonal skills to join our Cleveland or Akron office. Position requires strict adherence to health and safety procedures, attention to detail, good work ethic, and a passion for high quality workmanship. Duties may include field related task and requires some travel.

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Field and office support of hydrogeologic and other investigations involving oversight of environmental drilling, well installation and treatment system O&M including retail petroleum sites
  • Soil and groundwater sampling
  • Treatment system maintenance
  • Aquifer testing
  • Technical office support will involve the reduction and evaluation of field and analytical data
  • Data management
  • Report preparation
The ideal candidate will have a degree in geology, hydrogeology or related field. Preference is given to candidates who possess safety training (HAZWOPER, 40-Hour OSHA) and prior internship/full time experience in the industry. Individuals should have strong communication skills, a desire to pursue a career in the environmental consulting sector and excellent technical knowledge. Some degree of fieldwork sampling experience is required, with a specific desired background in groundwater sampling, soil descriptions, drill rig and treatment system experience preferred.

Required Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum years of experience: 0-1
  • Education required: BS in Geology, Hydrogeology or related field.
  • Skills required: Fieldwork sampling
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Years experience preferred: 1
  • Education preferred: Masters in Geology, Hydrogeology or related field
  • Registrations/Certifications preferred: 40 Hour OSHA Training
  • Skills preferred:
  • This position does require travel. Travel amount is up to 75%.
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required for this position.
  • This position does not manage others.
