ARCADIS in West Palm Beach, FL has a fantastic opportunity for a current Geologist or Environmental Scientist to assist with a growing number of projects. This position is approximately 75% field work in state working in all weather conditions and sometimes with an overnight stay. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Participation in all aspects of site investigation and remediation projects including field investigation, historical data evaluation, feasibility studies, and operation, maintenance and monitoring of remedial systems.
  • Will perform field work including soil, sediment, and groundwater characterization and sampling, drilling supervision and well installation oversight and documentation, maintenance and monitoring of remedial systems; report preparation of sampling and analysis plans, quality assurance project plans, health and safety plans and field investigation reports; data management to include compilation, evaluation, and presentation of findings.
This is an opportunity for an energetic individual looking for career growth in environmental remediation consulting. Project work will include data compilation and interpretation, report writing, regulatory file review, proposal writing, project strategy development, schedule and budget management, leading to a task manager role within a project team.

Required Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum years of experience: 2
  • Education required: BS degree in Geology, Environmental Science or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Years of experience preferred: 2-4
  • Education preferred: MS degree in Geology, Environmental Science or related field
  • This position does require travel. Travel amount is more than 50%.
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required for this position.
  • This position does not manage others.
