Geospatial Intelligence Analyst-01133055
Conduct geospatial intelligence analysis, research, or operations in support of critical investigative requirements related to the global war on terrorism. Develop techniques, criteria, and methodologies for research and conduct in-depth analysis of trends, patterns, and historical data for national security, intelligence, and criminal cases. Gather geospatial information in support of criminal investigations, identify intelligence gaps, interpret and evaluate information from multiple and sometimes contradictory sources, and monitor trends and events related to detainee operations, counter-threat finance, or counter-IED operations. Develop timelines and link charts and prepare written and oral assessments based on current events. Apply focused analysis geared toward the investigation and prosecution of terrorist and war crimes cases. Produce finished and strategic criminal intelligence assessments. This position is located at Fort Belvoir, VA.
Basic Qualifications: -8+ years of experience with Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT)-5+ years of experience with ArcGIS and SOCET GXP or Remote View-Active TS/SCI clearance-HS diploma or GED-Graduate of an accredited Geospatial/Imagery Professional Certification, including MOS-producing school
Additional Qualifications: -Experience with Palantir, Analyst Notebook, HOT-R, M3, or similar network analysis and message dissemination systems-Experience in the Military preferred-Experience with working in SOCOM, law enforcement, or Joint Military organizations-Experience with All-Source analysis-Knowledge of ERDAS Imagine, ENVI, Visual Basic Python, or Full Motion Video-Knowledge of Multi-INT for inclusion to analysis and products-Knowledge of the organizations and functions of the DoD, intelligence community, and military organizations-Ability to interact with and brief military and civilian senior representatives of IC and law enforcement communities-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
