As Community Support Manager, engagement and community growth of our German speaking communities is name of the game. This role will be centered on driving user engagement and building lasting relationships with our users through daily interaction via chat, forums, blogs, e-mail and videos. We’ll rely on you to identify common user issues and discussion patterns that can be analyzed and used to improve the overall user experience. You’ll even spread the word internally by contributing to the staff blog with updates on Wikia, our communities and product changes our communities have influenced.

It probably goes without saying that you’re fluent in written German, as well as written and spoken English. With over two years of online community support experience, you have a solid understanding of online communities and internet culture. Colleagues would describe you as incredibly dedicated to creating a great customer experience and able to remain calm, cool and collected in stressful situations. You’re also uber organized and have no difficulty staying on top of various Skype messages, community chat, E-mail and in-person interactions all at once. You’re probably even a bit of a tech geek who is knowledgeable in web based software and has used HTML, CSS, or better yet MediaWiki!
