The successful candidate will be located in San Francisco, California and will be responsible to execute the sales / account plan, derived from the various product line strategies and the segment sales plan, and realize the yearly sales and account objectives; execute negotiations about pricing and delivery within the boundaries set and be responsible for quotation handling, contracts, and credit limits. Further, this person will be responsible for defining, developing, and commercializing new projects within the segment / application strategy, as well as leverage and coordinate efforts for their projects at both the account and with the Business Development Managers. The successful candidate will also be responsible for positioning new value propositions at their target accounts for commercial development and for communicating value propositions to the market; be accountable for initiating development agreements with customers, and develop / maintain networks at adequate levels in the value chain and within account's organizations focusing on engineering, technology and sales.

The Ideal The successful candidate will have at minimum a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in mechanical / technology / chemical engineering and / or a related field. Knowledge of sales processes, as well as know-how on industry and markets, and in-depth knowledge about products, applications, and competitive material specifications and applications. Further, must have excellent communication, language and social skills and experience working with colleagues globally.
