The Global Communications team at IPG Mediabrands holds responsibility for all media interaction, representation of agency leadership on panels and at major industry events and manages branding across all components of the global media holding company.
This position reports directly to the Chief Communications Officer, based in New York.
Responsibilities:
Managing contacts and media database for the global team
Managing monthly media clip reports and coverage analysis for all agencies under the IPG Mediabrands umbrella
Managing ongoing collection of executive conference speaking and panel opportunities (fed in from PR teams of all groups) as well as topics covered/talking points
Managing logistics and schedules for three major events: CES (January), Global PR team meeting (February) and Cannes (June)
Managing photo and video database
Working with Executive Directors on creative projects like the New “Innovated By” program for the IPG Lab and superbowl commercial measurement for Shopper entertainment properties
Managing phone, calendars/meetings, travel and organization of materials for CCO, medical insurance, etc…
Managing daily transportation to and from the office for CCO
Qualifications:
Recent college grad
Strong organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint & Excel
Internet navigational skills for research
Solution-focused
Experience managing multiple activities at the same time
Quick learner and resourceful problem-solver
Great sense of humor and ability to work well in a fast-paced, high stress, ever-changing creative environment
