This role will be responsible for managing the overall structuring, planning, scoping and leading strategic planning analysis for EDM activities. Overall delivery of strategic planning and strategic and change management programs of work for EDM, and messaging for EDM management and executives for use within and outside of EDM. Provide strategic vision, goals and direction to ensure alignment with business principles. Responsible for translation of EDM strategic objectives into design principles. Responsible for effective communication of AIGGS strategic technology objectives to relevant stakeholders. Customer Centric Approach – focus on underlying customer needs and business economics. Ensure value for money providing clear business benefits. Align technology strategy to business vision to deliver flexible, scalable and cost-effective systems. Communications – Ensure AIG EDM roadmap is clearly articulated to ensure both staff and client understanding and buy-in. Provide thought leadership to the organization

Position Requirements

 A minimum of 10 years of experience in a medium to large corporate organization; financial services, insurance industry and / or management consulting experience a plus.
 Experience in strategic planning, prioritization and solution design.
 Proven experience managing large scale change management and strategic initiatives across large multinational organizations, preferably in a corporate setting and in an organization with a global workforce.
 Strategic orientation, vision, purpose.
 Client centric. Provide key communications bridge between the business and technology organizations.
 Ability to build enduring partnerships across multiple areas of the company and with external constituents. Global mind-set with very large company/global background.
 Innovative and results focused.
 Experience and proven record in establishing strategies, strategic plans, enterprise architecture frameworks and processes in alignment with IT vision, mission, frameworks and in line with processes, policies and procedures..
 Visionary and thought leader with ability to think “out of the box”.
 Financial acumen including Benefits Realisation.

 • Bachelors degree in Business, Management and/or Communications or related experience in Operations, Business Strategy and/or Change Management
 • Advanced degree preferred, but not required. Info graphic skills are a must.
