We are currently seeking a Global Head of Talent Acquisition. This role is a strategic leader in the planning, design, management, and execution of global recruiting activities. The position will report directly to the Global Head of Human Resources, and will be based in Port Washington, NY.
•Provide leadership and strategic direction for NPD recruiting
•Identify hiring specifications and competencies to ensure accurate and detailed job descriptions, and develop action plans to maximize candidate sourcing
•Proactively and creatively source (through traditional, social media and other creative methods), screen, and interview, qualified candidates. This includes posting jobs, pre-screening resumes, interviewing candidates both on the phone and in-person, and partnering with hiring managers throughout the selection process
•Facilitate feedback to key stakeholders; working closely with appropriate parties to ensure timely production of appropriate documentation and sign off
•Build strong relationships with HR Business Partners and hiring managers
•Present job offers to candidates and conducts hiring negotiations
•Manage the recruiting budget, and all vendor relations, as it relates to Recruiting
•Oversee campus recruiting, as well as the hiring process for the Summer Intern Program
•Supervise a staff of two Recruiters
•7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in a corporate environment. Market Research industry experience is a plus.
•Experience with creative candidate sourcing, including utilizing social media such as LinkedIn and Facebook
•Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and superior attention to detail
•Experience using sound judgment and consulting skills in decision making and strategic planning
•Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
•Management experience a plus
•Computer proficiency in MS Office, Internet recruiting, and experience with Jobvite Applicant Tracking System is a plus
•BA/BS Degree is preferred
