Position Title: Global Insights Analyst

The Insights team at InMobi contributes to global marketing and strategic sales efforts by creating and enabling use of market research, market intelligence, data assets, and mobile thought leadership content for advertisers, publishers, and developers.
The global insights analyst will manage primary market research studies from start to finish and mine, tabulate, and analyze large internal datasets with the goal of finding insights related to the overall mobile landscape, mobile media use patterns, advertising effectiveness, and consumer behavior and segmentation, and communicating and reporting these findings through various channels including traditional reporting tools (PowerPoint, Excel) as well as Infographics, social media, blog posts, and other creative reporting tools. Strong communications and writing skills are a must. This person must be analytical, detail-oriented, and be able to work on cross-functional teams across time zones.
Experience with statistical analysis and softwares and the ability to perform cluster analysis, correlations, regressions, and factor analysis is not required but is a huge plus.
Manage primary market research studies from start to finish, including survey writing, programming, fielding, data analysis, and reporting.
Analyze data and develop insights and thought leadership content; promote through writing white papers, blog posts, and using social media
Mine internal and 3rd party data sources for mobile insights and report through PowerPoint, Excel, and Infographic creation
Communicate and enable use of research content through aggressive internal and external marketing
Work with strategic sales teams on data and research for pitches to top global advertisers
1-3 years of agency or client-side market research experience
Obsessive-compulsive attention to detail
Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large amounts of data
Proficient with analytical and presentation tools, including Excel and PowerPoint. Understanding of SPSS or other statistical analysis software packages is a big plus.
Structured thinking: Ability to think through issues in a structured manner and use different frameworks to solve problems
Communication skills: Ability to present recommendations in a logical and clearly articulated manner
Proficiency with statistical analyses including cluster analysis, regressions, correlations, factor analysis, strongly preferred
Strong project management skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
Ability to take ownership and get the job done
Prior digital media experience is also a plus!
