PURPOSE : The Global Payroll Manager i s responsible for processing payroll through ADP Streamline globally and Pay Expert, and TruTime timekeeping software for US. This individual is responsible for centralized payroll activities for 7 countries to include Korea, The Netherlands, Sweden, Poland, Germany, Canada and the US. Responsible for processing bi-weekly and monthly payrolls, recording entries in the general ledger, account reconciliations, as well as variance report write-ups on SG&A reports. Establish AS5 controls environment within Payroll Department. Interface with Vice-Presidents, Directors, Supervisors and employees, investigate problems and implement solutions. Confidentiality and Customer Service is of utmost importance in this role.

MAJOR TASKS:
Administration of payroll on a biweekly and monthly basis for Canada, US and Europe entities, utilizing ADP payroll system s

Verification of accurate payroll for all countries

Import payroll information (address changes, pay changes, transfers, new hires, terminations, benefit deductions, department numbers, etc.)

Resolve payroll discrepancies and issue manual checks when necessary

Process prepaid/void checks and third party sick pay

Process direct deposit, garnishments, levies and tax information

Process relocation expense reimbursement with knowledge of related tax laws and calculation.

Perform year end purge, upgrades and ensure payroll information is correct for W2 distribution as well as year-end processes for all countries.

Create new company codes and jurisdictions as necessary

Keep all payroll bank account information and provide appropriate information for monthly bank reconciliation

Input EIC when necessary

Process retroactive pay adjustments as necessary

Review invoices for accuracy, and record through Journal Entries to General Ledger

Process direct deposit reversals/deletions

Record payroll expense and tax liability into the general ledger

Reconcile payroll accounts

Keep payroll processes in accordance with AS5 controls

Establish processes, investigate problems and implement solutions

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Experience working within AS5 constraints

Knowledge of ADP Payexpert payroll system and ADP Streamline a plus

Good mathematical skills

Extensive knowledge of Federal and State payroll tax, and wage and hourly laws

Experience with processing global payrolls

Familiarity with time and attendance systems

Experience with implementing new payrolls as company expands

FUNCTIONAL PREREQUISITES:
Associates degree in Accounting or related field required

Minimum 8 years payroll experience

Certified Payroll Professional preferred
