Global Supply Chain Finance Manager

Trek is looking to add an experienced global finance leader to join our team as Global Supply Chain Finance Manager. This position will be a critical role within Trek’s finance department and will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a great company. The Finance Manager will report directly to the Corporate Controller and is located in Waterloo, WI.
This is a significant role with a global scope. Key responsibilities will include ownership of global manufacturing, cost accounting, inventory management & valuation, working capital, global distribution & general financial support.
Global Manufacturing:
  • Provide financial leadership for all of Trek’s global manufacturing sites
  • Set priorities for teams located in remote manufacturing sites, develop team
  • Analyze variances from purchasing, manufacturing & distribution activities
  • Communicate risks & opportunities for each location, work with local teams to resolve issues
  • Standardize report across all remote sites, drive consistency with reporting metrics
  • Profitability analytics for product lines manufacturing and provide make vs. buy analysis
  • Financial ownership of global Project One operations
  • Perform variety of ad-hoc assignments
Global Cost Accounting:
  • Lead global cost accounting efforts for Trek’s global operations
  • Provide direction & leadership for high –performing team
  • Define metrics & customer service levels for global cost accounting team
  • Run annual standard cost updates, communicate key drivers of cost changes, provide great customer service
  • Analyze impact of currency fluctuations & other variances
  • Provide as needed ad-hoc analysis
Working Capital Management & Forecasting:
  • Lead monthly reporting & forecasting of global working capital
  • Explain key drivers & variances in actual results, communicate trends and future needs
  • Coordinate Inventory, A/R, A/P teams to provide analysis on global WC trends
Global Distribution:
  • Lead global efforts on delivery & distribution expense, strategy
  • Validate current metrics and drive programs globally to reduce expense and increase efficiency
  • Liaise with operations team to identify savings opportunities & drive best practices
  • Provide as needed ad-hoc analysis
Education and Qualifications:
  • 7+ years’ working in a global business ; Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • CPA is preferred; advanced technical accounting skills are required
  • Ability to coordinate global schedules and build strong processes
  • Ability to manage a global team, provide regular feedback to employees,
  • Ability to manage the details but also communicate with and influence senior leaders
