We seek a self-motivated and independent individual for our Global Supply Chain Analyst position. The successful candidate will provide support to global planning and ensure alignment of inventory, product movement, and collaboration of multiple company initiatives on 6 continents. The Global Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for maximizing relationships throughout the entire supply chain. The Analyst will have keen attention to detail, be highly self-motivated, and have mature and professional communication skills. He / She will also need to be an expert at multi-tasking, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and employ exceptional time management skills. The ideal candidate also should be comfortable with issue management, Supply Chain cross functional communication and engagement, work well in a team environment, and have passion and excitement about solving problems.
Key Responsibilities include:
•Coordinate new product introductions and consolidations.
•Set safety stock levels based on sales/marketing strategy
•Support item retirement / cradle to grave lifecycle management
•Support Sales and Operations Planning Process through detailed analysis and metrics development / maintenance.
•Facilitate weekly production meetings
•Maintain and report against the Master Production Schedule
•Monitor and root cause item stock-outs
•Develop recovery plans and preventative actions on item shortages and stock-outs.
•Act as liaison between supply chain entities and Sales / Customer Service.
•Develop relationships with internal and external customers by responding to questions and concerns, developing and analyzing a variety of reports, and assisting with integrating operations.
•Provide analysis and information to demand planning in relation to sales trends and inventory positions.
•Monitor and move inventory between North American facilities to maximize in-stock positions and effectively manage space requirements.
•Education Level: Bachelors Degree (Supply Chain Management Preferred)
•Years of Relevant Experience: 5-7 years in Supply Chain Analytics
•Prior production planning / inventory management experience in a manufacturing type environment.
•Ability to influence and interact with multiple levels of management to ensure timelines and expectations are met.
•Strong computer skills to include Exceptional Excel skills, Microsoft Suite, Oracle EBS, ASCP, and Demantra
•Excellent oral and written communication skills
•Excellent data & analytical skills and a strong detail focus.
•Independent, and able to handle multiple projects at one time
