JOB TITLE: Global Talent Acquisition Consultant

REPORTS TO: Global Recruiting Manager / Global HR Director

SUMMARY :
The Global Talent Acquisition Consultant is a professional position which provides tactical support to HR leadership and managers throughout the business to assist the company in achieving its company goals through acquiring the right talent. The Global Talent Acquisition Consultant will work in the following specialty areas: recruiting, screening, interviewing and recommending candidates for entry level and professional/technical positions, coordinating recruitment activities at various international locations, affirmative action compliance and outreach and other compliance and project duties.

ESSENTIAL TASKS & DUTIES:

RECRUITMENT AND STAFFING
Coordinate US and International recruitment, screening, Interviewing and selection of internal and external applicants in conjunction with company managers and directors; coordinate employment advertising; review and evaluate applicant’s work history, education, training and other qualifications; perform international reference and background checks; coordinate communications to applicants. Initiate recruiting activities including contacting recruiting firms and external community resources, conducting open houses, participating in job fairs and encouraging employee referral; and community/employee involvement. Handle the full recruiting process from application to employment offer and beginning of onboarding processes. Run recruiting metrics reporting. Manage the careers website for internal and external postings.

WORKFORCE DIVERSITY
Promote AAP compliance, outreach and workforce diversity by identifying, recruiting, screening and referring candidates in support of the company’s affirmative action initiatives. Develop, select and administer pre-employment testing, including but not limited to technical, language, and aptitude testing. Determine and select global third-party testing administrators, review test results and provide results to hiring authorities. Assist in the administration of company guidelines for equal employment opportunity, affirmative action and workforce diversity. Develop and maintain relationships with schools and other outreach programs to support AAP compliance.

Compliance
Update and maintain employment reports including applicant tracking, measurement, candidate selection, unemployment claims, EEO-1, organizational charts, maintains other records, reports and job files. Maintains HRIS records and compiles reports as required from the database. Logs and maintains job descriptions, training records and accompanying documents in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements.

ADDITIONAL PROJECT RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform additional responsibilities, including special projects, as requested or assigned.

Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Respond to change productively and handle other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business administration, or related studies and three to five years of professional Human Resource Experience; or equivalent related education and work experience. PHR or SPHR preferred.

Demonstrated knowledge of employment-related laws, regulations, employment selection criteria. Experience with international operations helpful.

Demonstrated experience in interviewing for exempt and non-exempt level positions; experience working with recruiting firms and affirmative action plans. Prefer prior international recruiting exposure.

Proficiency in HRIS systems, applicant tracking software, software skills, including word processing, spreadsheets and presentation tools.

Good punctuation, spelling, grammar and attention to detail a must.

Effective oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Effective analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Project management skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.

Knowledge & Skills:
Demonstrated strong service orientation with attention to detail and follow through necessary. Incumbent must be able to work with confidential information and must consistently exercise good judgment in dealing with a variety of situations and issues.

Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently yet within a team environment required. Incumbent must be self-directed and take initiative. Incumbent must be able to deal with a high degree of complexity in the work and competing demands and priorities.

Excellent oral and written command of the English language required. Experience with oral and/or written Russian, Dutch, or Spanish languages helpful.

Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.

Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills
Advanced excel spreadsheet skills. Must be PC proficient and have an aptitude for working with a variety of computer systems/applications (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.) HRIS Systems experience and Org Plus experience preferred.
