Sales Support Priorities:
• Maintain the order lineup
• Coordinate order tallies and shipments with Hampton’s mills and outside mills
• Make vessel bookings
• Communicate vessel booking information with all parties involved
• Track material from the mills to the dock
• Position requires contacts with Lumber Mills, Banks, Freight Forwarder, Lumber Stuffing Yard and Customers from overseas
• Enter and edit orders in the Lumber Track system
• Prepare shipping documents, including invoices and packing lists
• Approve vendor, freight and handling bills for payment
• Responsible for preparing instructions for establishing new Letters of Credit, all documents for L/C’s and negotiations of L/C’s with the banks
• Assemble documents and forward to the customer

Experience/Skills Required:

Skills required:
• Strong working knowledge of US and international laws and regulations covering preparation and governance of ocean bill of lading
• Laws relevant to transportation and exportation including but not limited to anti-boycott regulations, office of foreign assets control regulations
• Attention to details with excellent problem solving skills, high degree of accuracy and efficiency
• Must have excellent communication skills
• A minimum of 5 years export experience required
• Prefer fluency in at least one foreign language
