Responsible for the coordination of daily activities, implementation and administration of HIV prevention/intervention programs targeting adolescent females in accordance with contract/funding source requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruit and supervise program staff.
Oversee strategic planning activity for the program.
Attend and engage in community coalition meetings and events
Coordinate all web-based technology used by the program.
Coordinate special events for members of the target population.
Recruit and supervise members of the Youth Leadership Program.
Prepare qualitative and quantitative data as required by agency and funding source.
Attend supervision, staff meetings and training seminars as required by agency.
Perform other duties as assigned by Director of Prevention.
Supervise two Health Educators, Youth HIV Tester/Counselor, Theatre Consultant, and an Adolescent Wellness Coordinator. Oversees the work of any consultants utilized.
Bachelor's degree in health or human services and three years of qualifying experience or enrollment in related Master's degree program. Knowledge of HIV/AIDS, substance use, harm reduction, violence prevention and adolescent issues. Knowledge of community and governmental service organizations and public entitlements. Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated computer literacy and proficiency. Bilingual skills in Spanish preferred.
