Revolving funds. Renewal contingent upon satisfactory performance of duties and availability of funds. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Under supervision of the DCDC Instructional Designer/Project Manager or designee:
  • Assist in the design and development of online courses and modules to include learning objectives, assignments, resources, readings and detailed instructions for students
  • Duties may also include development of multimedia learning objects, online discussion questions, and course and software documentation
  • Develop and conduct professional development workshops
  • Liaise with faculty on development of instructional strategies
  • Other related duties as assigned
  • Minimum Qualifications
  • Full-time graduate student in good standing (3.0 GPA) in Educational Technology or related degree program
  • Familiarity with instructional design, distance education, and web-based tools
  • Knowledge of assessment methods
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Dependable, organized, and able to meet established deadlines
  • Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience mentoring or working with faculty
  • Experienced working in a higher education environment
  • Advanced knowledge of Learning and/or Content Management Systems, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, Web Design, and Multimedia Development Software
