Working knowledge of computer applications, including software technology that supports educational institutions and/or relational databases, such as Banner, PeopleSoft, Datatel, etc. Demonstrated ability to effectively work and communicate in a team environment within a diverse population. Strong communication and customer service skills to adequately serve students, the university community, and government officials.
Working knowledge of FERPA and other federal regulations related to the release of educational records to third parties, general university policies and procedures, and academic program requirements. Long term planning and problem solving skills. Prior experience working with academic records in a higher education environment.
