Identify and obtain grants and other funding for the organization.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years successful grant writing and grant monitoring experience is required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in health planning, business, public or health administration, journalism, or clinical science preferred.
  • Experience obtaining and monitoring organizational grants in excess of $250,000 is preferred.
  • Excellent oral, written, and office software (word processing and spreadsheets) skills are required.


  • Essential Functions:
  • All aspects of grant application research, writing, and submittal.
  • Work with BBAHC managers and Village authorities in identifying appropriate grant projects.
  • Monitor projects funded by successful grants to ensure timely reporting and compliance.
  • Develop generic grant templates for use by BBAHC Departments and affiliated Tribes.
  • Identify funding sources for tribal and BBAHC projects and provide general application assistance.
  • Maintain and distribute list of available grants and pertinent guidelines, laws, and regulations to BBAHC Departments and affiliated Tribes.
  • Establish and maintain a grant resource library.
  • Assist BBAHC managers and Village authorities in managing and reporting grant status and completion.
  • Assist in grant package compilation and submission.
  • Other duties as assigned.
