DESCRIPTION

The Grants Clerk will work as part of the Grants unit as part of the grants administrative team.

DUTIES

The Grants Clerk will have primary responsibility for data entry into InfoEd and other data systems. They will review ORACLE and ARC system transactions. She/he will assist in the creation and updating of expenditure reports for all sponsored projects. They will assist the Grants Administrator in monitoring appropriateness of spending on sponsored projects. They will work with purchasing and accounts payable to closeout commitments once a sponsored project has ended. The grants clerk will produce ad-hoc reports for the Grants team as necessary and other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree

Proficient in Excel

Special requirements: Must be able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work appropriately in an extremely busy office environment. Organization, attention to detail and analytical skills essential.
