This person is responsible for preparing budgets and invoices for grants and contracts, as well as performing reconciliations and analysis of accounting records. Assists supervisory in monthly preparation of general ledger, and other accounting functions.
Education: Associates Degree in Accounting or related subject. Proven experience may be substituted for education on a year for year basis.
Experience: Minimum of two years of relevant experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required: Knowledge of office practice and procedures; ability to use standard office machines; ability to maintain accurate and legible records; ability to prepare reports using simple arithmetic computations and computer spreadsheets; knowledge of computers and relevant software; ability to work independently with minimal direction; ability to communicate effectively orally and through writing; and ability to prioritize tasks and schedule work time.
