Maintain and reconcile master tracking log of grant award information, status and ownership.
Enter appropriate grants information into Abacus, GLAAS and Phoenix systems.
Review and record all incoming requisitions and pass onto OFDA grant specialists.
Prepare and audit all outgoing award files for Agreement Officer approval.
Prioritize grants for formal distribution to grantees, missions abroad and USAID/OFDA offices.
Serve as contact person for all requests from Washington and overseas offices concerning grants.
Ensure high level of quality control and serve as central information clearinghouse for all grant actions and correspondence.
Organize the official grant files for year-end audits.
Utilizes Abacus Program Planning, Tracking & Monitoring System to share grant information with USAID.
Bachelor’s degree preferred , required for promotion
Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational skills and outstanding attention to detail.
Familiarity with US Government entities in general and USAID in particular is desired.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).
Professional level skills in both oral and written communication.
US Citizenship or Green Card required; selected candidate must be able to qualify for a government sponsored security clearance.
