Performs professional management analyst work which may include some supervisory responsibilities, and professional and administrative work implementing and managing police grants. The primary duties include researching grant opportunities, preparing grant applications, maintaining and managing grant documentation, producing programmatic grant reports, evaluating/analyzing organizational units or programs, strategic planning, performance measurement, and special projects. Work is performed under general supervision and is reviewed while in progress and upon completion, through discussions, evaluation of reports submitted and results obtained.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor degree in public administration or business administration and four years of experience in grant management and budget and management analysis; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Some work experience in government preferred. Florida driver license required. Must pass criminal check and polygraph examination.

VALID DRIVER LICENSE FROM ANY STATE MUST BE PRESENTED AT TIME OF INTERVIEW. VALID FLORIDA DRIVER LICENSE MUST BE PRESENTED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF HIRE.
