The Graphic Designer (GD) is responsible for the creation of visual designs, including layout, typography, visual concept, icon design and other designs for marketing platforms. The GD will effectively communicate and coordinate with the Marketing Coordinator, Marketing Communications Specialist and Marketing team to ensure that visual designs communicate the desired message and function successfully for varying technical and performance specifications. The GD must be capable of leading the creative aspects of a project and demonstrate strong business acumen .

Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design.
Experience: Five (5) years of experience in Graphic Design in an agency and/or corporate environment.
Ability to handle a variety of assignments simultaneously
Ability to work in a team environment and independently
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Proficient user in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
Proficient user in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
Walking, sitting, standing, kneeling, crouching, stooping, and capable of lifting 35 pounds.

Fluency in English with outgoing personality that translates to phone skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for seeing all graphic design projects through to completion. From concept and design to production.
Work closely with the Marketing Team to create collateral, promotional and advertising pieces for print, web, social and event projects.
Assist in planning and art directing photo shoots.
Assist as the marketing team grows.
Comply with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules and regulations.
Other Duties and Responsibilities as assigned.
