The USC School of Dramatic Arts is seeking a part-time graphic designer to develop and create collateral materials to promote the School, including, but not limited to, advertising (print, web/social media), brochures, programs, signage, posters, video graphics, flash animations and invitations. Employee will work closely with the Assistant Dean of Communications and Director of Print and Digital Media, and will be responsible for design, project management, and interaction with creative staff from concept through production and delivery.
The Department of Drama was founded in 1945 by playwright and film director William Churchill de Millie. As a result of the department’s national reputation and the strength of its programs, faculty and students, the department became the School of Theatre in July 1991. (Effective July 1, 2012 The School of Dramatic Arts) The School of Dramatic Arts offers innovative programs and curricula in acting, direction, playwriting, design, critical studies, stage management, technical directing and applied theatre arts. The School’s degrees offered include the Bachelor of Fine Arts, Bachelor of Arts Masters of Art and Masters of Fine Arts.

Minimum Field of Expertise
Education in graphic or industrial design. Work experience as a graphic designer covering all aspects of artwork preparation and printing. Requires thorough knowledge of typography, printing processes, selection of paper or other printing surface and paper folding, binding and finishing.
