Creates and assists with the management of digital resources. Develops a wide range of graphic art, graphic design and related visual communications materials for publications, print media, electronic media, presentations, displays, and web pages.

This is a part-time, 50% FTE appointment.

Minimum/Required Qualifications:
Two years of college-level training in graphic arts, illustration, drafting OR closely allied field AND one year of experience as a Graphics Assistant OR equivalent education/experience.

Minimum/Required Qualifications continued:
Experience with graphic design, including producing posters, flyers and other materials.

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, communicate effectively orally and in writing, and organize and execute assignments.

Experience using scanning equipment and computer software and hardware.

Expertise and experience with Adobe Creative Suite.

Demonstrated skills in organization/management.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in higher education with demonstrated knowledge of Washington State University operations, policies, and procedures.

College graduate preferably in Fine Arts, Management Information Systems, or Computer Graphics (with strong artistic experience and background.)

Knowledge/experience with HTML, XML, and style sheets.

Experience with Web Page design, update and maintenance.
