Our Parks and Destinations group specializes in serving consumers; recreational and entertainment needs in national and state parks, zoos, aquariums, science centers, museums and other day-use cultural attractions.

Position Summary:
This position is a member of the Maintenance Crew. The main purpose of this position is to maintain the grounds and facilities of the components in accordance to ARAMARK Parks and Destinations brand standards of quality.

Essential Functions:
This is an outside position working in all types of weather. Rain, snow, cold or heat.

Job requires the use and training of power equipment to include but not limited to chain saws, weed whacker, riding mower, pressure washer, and portable generators along with small power and hand tools.

Maybe required to cut brush, fills potholes, cleans campsites, cleans fire pits and performs light road maintenance. The land crew paint and repairs picnic tables, porches and signs around campsites.

Perform other work as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY: Describes the general purpose of the job.

The Groundskeeper will complete various projects to include trash removal, picking trash off walkways, cleaning parking lots, manure run, pressure washing, cob web removal, painting, and perform housekeeping duties and floor care projects. The purpose is to ensure the Riverbanks Zoo is a clean, safe and comfortable place to work and visit at all times.

ESSENTIAL TASKS: List the principle on-going responsibilities that are necessary to accomplish the purpose of the job.

Maintain Parks walks, parking lots, and restrooms throughout the shift to ensure they meet standards

Remove trash form the park and parking lots(Inside run, picnic areas, parking lots, trash removal from park and parking lots of both the zoo and gardens, recycling on Wednesdays, daily cleaning of buildings and projects as assigned.)

Maintains effective relationship with client and has understanding of daily requirements of schedules to ensure contractual obligations are met.

Maintains effective relationship with the ARAMARK Leadership Team.

Help maintain equipment and report anything that may need repair.

Responsible for making sure paper supply closet remains stocked.

Ensuring supply and equipment closets are neat and orderly.

Must be flexible and available to support and cover second shift events as required.

Monitor inventory and inform manager when supplies need to be ordered.

Carry a radio and charge at end of shift

Clean golf cart and charge at end of shift

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Describe the background education and experiences necessary to perform essential job functions.


High school degree or equivalent desirable. Must have a valid driver s license.
