Primarily responsibile for the accurate and timely issuance of new group cases for our business partners. This position performs a combination of group set-up and quality assurance activity related to new group issuance and conversion or transition business for cases with group products. The group set-up activity includes: reviews proposals and applications for accuracy and consistency, enters applications into the processing system, determines specific class structure and prepares certificates and policies; coordinates with internal departments and external customers for clarity and accuracy with respect to set-up guidelines, procedures and supporting documents; ensures records are complete and accurate in company database; and responsible for the issuance of the fulfillment material to new groups and related parties. The quality assurance activity consists of: verification of the group installation on the administrative system; random comparison of proposal and master application; review of class structure and associated certificates; validation of the annotation letter; review of fulfillment package including non-insurance products, and certification of the first billing. Issue responsibilities will primarily include Combined Billed and Bundled Packages. Primary issue will be accomplished through GPS and CSW member load.
Knowledge of Group Life and Disability products, contracts and supporting administrative systems. Critical thinking and customer service skills. Advanced MS Office skills. Ability to prioritize and work within time constraints. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Minimum basic Native Compass knowledge and inquiry skills.
- 0 to 2 years experience in a related field.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Associates or Bachelors degree in a business related field.
- Insurance industry experience.
