The Group Coordinator (GC) primarily supports the Directors as a direct liaison to the client(s), making sure that the client(s) have direct access to them at all times. Also participates on a variety of research, media planning, analysis and organizational projects while interacting with various members of the media team. This position is essential in the tactical management of the department and requires an individual that works well in a team-based, fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. The successful GC is resourceful and demonstrates the initiative to participate in advanced projects. The GC position is training-intensive. Aptitude for learning new skills and procedures is essential. The GC is expected to be a curious, active participant and is encouraged to contribute ideas and insights for surprising results for our clients.


- Administrative support (phones, calendars, expenses, organization) for Directors - Maintain client and media vendor contact lists as well as media kit database - Assist in vendor POVs, research projects and status documents - Manage group publisher meeting requests from voting process through meeting confirmation; understands the media planning teams objective in order to properly vet publisher requests. - Maintain standing meeting and vacation calendars - Set up and book conference rooms for meetings; tidy up afterwards if necessary - Assist in the development of media strategies and plans, points-of-view, research projects, and other miscellaneous planning projects; be current on upcoming media trends and subscribe virtually to all trades. - Manage his/her daily duties, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all documents, with the assistance of management - Assist team members with other projects as needed


- Bachelors degree, preferably Advertising, Business, or Communications - Media/advertising or related internship experience strongly preferred - Excellent communication skills both written and verbal - Must be detail-oriented with excellent follow-though skills - Ability to learn quickly, work well under pressure, and a positive ‘can-do’ attitude - Proven ability to handle multiple priorities/tasks - Strong organizational and analytical skills - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
