Growth and Business Development Manager, Digital Medical Solutions
The position leads, organizes and executes growth opportunities, including acquisitions, partnerships, and internal development programs, focused on increasing revenue and/or profitability for Digital Medical Systems and Carestream, as a whole. The position requires active participation on the Digital Medical Solutions Leadership Team.
Geographic Location of Position
Rochester, New York
o Analyze markets and market trends and determine whether such markets, or companies within those markets, should be opportunities of interest to Carestream (30%)
o Lead, organize and execute due diligence of potential acquisition targets and partnerships (10%)
o Create spreadsheets and models that summarize valuations, financial characteristics, required investments, and pro forma operational effects on Carestream post-acquisition or post-development (25%)
o Lead teams creating presentations for management that summarize market and investment opportunities (25%)
o Lead, organize and assist with development of overall growth projections and strategies, including the annual strategic review process, as well as positioning Carestream for development of such strategies (5%)
o Assist with negotiating purchase terms and conditions, creating investment theses and investment memoranda, and reviewing legal contracts and agreements associated with potential acquisitions and partnerships (5%)
A four year Bachelor’s degree is required. An MBA is preferred, but not required.
Required skills and experience include: general corporate finance, valuation, mergers and acquisitions, financial modeling, accounting, corporate writing and communications, and public equity markets. Candidates must possess and demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to manage project teams staffed with personnel who are not direct reports.
Years Related Experience Required:
Four to eight years of post-undergraduate experience, including MBA studies where applicable, are required. The ideal candidate would have four to six years of experience in investment banking, private equity, business development, and/or strategy consulting.
