Assists patients, families, visitors and other Presbyterian Healthcare guests by providing direction and information; oversees lobby traffic floor.
Education and formal training : High school diploma required.
Work experience : Experience in customer/guest services position where face to face interactions with customer were required strongly preferred.
Knowledge, skills and abilities required : Knowledge of hospital service offerings and of health care services, products and processes required. General clinical understanding is ideal. Computer skills (word processing, spreadsheet or web –based applications) required. Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills and demonstrated problem solving skills. Must be able to multi-task while remaining focused on customer needs. Conflict resolution and/or management skills a plus. Must have a strong appreciation for diverse populations and the unique needs and expectations of various customer groups. Must have excellent customer service skills to include courteous, neat appearance, calm and confident manner, caring attitude. Service recovery skills. Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Work Schedule
