The Category Merchandiser Is to support all aspects of Category Management. This support includes the implementation and maintenance of Category Management tactics such as product assortment, promotions, displays and smallware supplies (where applicable). Additionally, manage the divisional differences while monitoring results for achieving department and divisional goals. This includes cross functional interaction with the replenishment team.
Responsible to lead the day-to-day negotiation for promotions, marketing programs, fuel rewards, ads, temporary price reductions, and displays. Take all new product presentations and create recommended listing and DE-listing to assortment for Category Manager.
Ensure the on-time and accurate input to all merchandising systems (i.e. DemandTec) consistent with portfolio plans and objectives. Essential Skills
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree preferred
2-4 Years Experience
Skills and Knowledge:
Project management skill set preferred
Advanced Microsoft Excel
