DESCRIPTION

Enhances instruction by the Health Occupations Instructor in the vocational class setting with emphasis on clinical skills. Provides supervision of students in the clinical setting.Salary is negotiable, DOE.

DUTIES

1. Convert information into instructional program2. Develop course or training objectives3. Advise students4. Communicate student progress5. Design classroom presentations6. Develop instructional materials7. Evaluate student performance8. Maintain educational records, reports, or files9. Make education presentations10. Monitor student progress11. Organize educational material or ideas12. Prepare educational reports13. Record student progress14. Use computers to enter, access or retrieve educational data15. Use teaching techniques16. Understand technical operating, service or repair manuals17. Use interpersonal communication techniques18. Use oral or written communication techniques19. Use public speaking techniques20. Use sanitation practices in health care settings21. collect clinical data22. Follow institutional care procedures23. Identify body response variations24. Use clinical problem solving techniques25. Use knowledge of medical terminology26. Use knowledge of nursing terminology27. Use nursing practices or procedures28. Follow patient care procedures29. Follow patient observation procedures30. Use research methodology procedures in health care31. Encourage group participation

QUALIFICATIONS
