Marathon Petroleum Company LP is currently accepting applications for an HES Professional at its refinery in Canton, Ohio. This position will be responsible for implementation of programs and management of environmental issues in the assigned media.
1. Work with local, state & federal agencies with Environmental permitting.
2. Review refinery projects for regulatory compliance and develop permit applications as required.
3. Review new regulations for potential impacts on the refinery.
4 . Develop and implement new environmental compliance programs in conformance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
5 . Manage and improve existing environmental compliance programs.
6 . Prepare required regulatory reports in area of responsibility.
7 . Provide compliance assistance to other departments within the refinery.
8 . Work to support day-to-day operation of the refinery in compliance with applicable requirements and company policies.
9 . Participate on incident investigations and implement corrective actions as requested.
10 . Participate in HES audits and develop corrective actions as required.
1 1 . Perform other requirements as assigned.
Bachelors Degree required, Chemical Engineering or Environmental Engineering major preferred.
Air Permitting experience required.
