This position is responsible for all aspects of the consolidation process, including maintenance of the global consolidation system ( Hyperion Financial Management), validating/analyzing reported results, and providing financial information to a diverse user base. This position works closely with the various international Finance teams, Tax department, Treasury department, and Legal personnel in the set-up, reorganization and maintenance of inter-company and subsidiary relationships. In addition to properly accounting for the growing intercompany structure, this position will be expected to drive positive change, including ev aluating and streamlining of existing processes and controls. This position reports to the Assistant Corporate Controller.


Oversee the Corporate Hyperion Financial Management ( HFM) system
  • Manage global day to day administration of ( HFM)
  • Assure compliance with the proper policies, procedures, and controls within HFM and related processes
  • Oversee timely support and issue resolution for HFM, most critically during the accounting close cycle
  • Research and recommend actions to solve HFM issues
  • Identify and communicate HFM process improvement opportunities
  • Implement metadata changes and rules and maintain system hierarchies
  • Write, debug, and enhance various HFM Calculation Scripts and Business Rules
  • Enhance and support web based data entry forms within the HFM application
  • Maintain technical aspects of FDM, including import formats, logic accounts, custom scripts and reports
  • Assist in the analysis, design, and development of system enhancements to align with current/future financial reporting needs
  • Assist with creation or changes to consolidation reports in HFM/SmartView
  • Assist training new users on the HFM system; retrain existing users on system enhancements
  • Assist with external and internal audit for system and consolidation controls
Assist with the monthly financial consolidations process
  • Prepare monthly consolidation journal entries including supporting documentation/analysis
  • Perform monthly intercompany analysis to identify issues and work with the global Accounting team teams to resolve
  • Assist preparing monthly consolidation validation reports including roll-forwards of goodwill, intangibles equity, and other accounts
  • Provide support to external reporting team, as necessary

Bachelor's degree required. Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance related discipline preferred.

  • 7+ years of related experience
  • 4+ years as a HFM Administrator or HFM support ( System 9 or 11)
  • 2+ years of accounting/finance experience a plus
  • Foreign currency including translation
  • Experience with visual basic and SQL preferred
  • Experience with U.S. GAAP and IFRS and financial statement analysis
