Position Overview:
As a Hospital Sales Account Manager, covering the Arizona Territory, you will sell a diverse line of medical diagnostic products, systems and solutions to hospitals and IDNs, leveraging Welch Allyn’s market strength in vital signs connectivity, physical assessment, and core blood pressure categories. You will call on current and prospective customers as well as major accounts/ IDN’s.

With expert knowledge of your customer’s business and value drivers, you will partner with clinical consultants, sales engineers, corporate and strategic accounts, and product management to offer customers end to end solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Selling the complete line of Welch Allyn products and systems, you will call on hospital medical / surgical floors, biomed, materials management, IT, and emergency departments as well as nursing management.

Your strong product knowledge and ability to understand the diverse needs of the customer will equip you to develop customer driven solutions using both stand-alone and connected systems that improve hospital efficiency, patient safety and outcomes, and enable connectivity to access information.

You are an expert in opportunity prioritization, qualification of large complex sales, and preparation for customer visits / follow up and deal closing. Your strong grasp of the market, competitive products, and pricing helps you drive sales.

Required Background:
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related technical area and a track record of solid sales experience, preferably selling medical and/or capital equipment. Your knowledge of the hospital environment as well as experience selling through distribution is vital.

Working knowledge of Windows-based computer programs including Word and Excel skills is strongly preferred. You have strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to work well independently, and demonstrated professional selling skills. Approximately 40% travel is required in this position.
