Pacific Park at the Santa Monica Pier is seeking a part-time Human Resources Assistant (30-40 hours per week during peak season - 15 -20 hours per week off-peak) to provide administrative assistance to the Human Resources Department in the areas of recruitment, employee relations, training & new hire processing. This is an excellent opportunity to develop and grown in a fast paced, dynamic environment

Responsibilities and Duties
• Assist with seasonal recruiting, interviewing and sourcing
• Conduct new hire orientation and assist with the new hire process
• Assist with employee relations issues in the absence of HR Management. Ensure accurate interpretation of company policy & procedures
• Respond to routine employee questions. Coordinate Park training initiatives including setup and facilitation
• Support bi-weekly payroll processing for new hires
• Create and maintain on-site employee personnel files
• Attend and participate in employee events
Required Experience
• 1 to 2 years general experience in Admin or Human Resources
• 1 year recruiting experience desirable
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong teamwork
• Exceptional time-management, organizational & customer service skills
• Self-motivated and confident
