The Human Resource Administrative Assistant provides clerical support for Human Resource, including processing hourly payroll, scheduling initial phone interviews, schedules on site interviews, and testing of hourly applicants. Prepares new hire documentation for hourly new hire associates and is responsible for filing of associate personnel file documentation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Accurately process hourly payroll each week in Qqest time keeping system. Verifies time in Qqest and assists with system updates. Maintains Human Resource information board to ensure all information is posted accurately and timely. Maintains filing for Human Resource department. Assist hourly associates as needed with general information. Accurately prepares documentation for hourly applicant personnel testing and onsite interviews. Prepares documentation for all hourly new hire orientation packets.

Customer Service
Maintain a good working relationship with customers by assisting with inquires concerning payroll or direct inquires to the Human Resource Manager.
Documentation
Ensure the accuracy of all payroll documentation. Gather and accurately input all data and records relative to payroll in to Qqest system and file documents in a timely manner.
Data Entry
Enter and verify payroll into the Qqest Time System and meet deadlines as required. Notify Human Resource Manager of discrepancies that are outside of the normal payroll processing procedures.

Reporting
Prepare reports concerning hourly associates as required by management.
Communication
Assist all personnel with a professional , courteous and cheerful demeanor. Answer incoming telephone calls in a professional, cheerful, courteous, and timely manner. Assist callers with general information and inquires.

Other Duties
Other duties or responsibilities as requested by Management.

Position Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS (SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED)
General office experience, including telephone techniques and computer skills, in a customer service environment is required. Effective communication skills and skills in operating office machines are necessary.

Computer Skills
Microsoft Office, WICS, Qqest

Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or GED
College Degree (preferred)
1-3 years experience preferred

Language Skills
English (reading, writing, and verbal)

Mathematical Skills
Intermediate

None.
