Etsy is seeking a talented and organized HR Administrator to help our budding HR team support Etsy’s 300+ employees. This role is based in Brooklyn, NY and is not eligible for relocation support.
About the Position
The main responsibility of HR Administrator is to assist the HR team in order to provide the best possible support to Etsy’s amazing employees. This job entails support and coordination in the effective application of policies, procedures, and practices of Etsy’s HR department. The HR Administrator will also assist with administrative tasks including data management, employment verifications, benefits, payroll and filing. Additionally, this role will:
Assist in the development and implementation of human resources processes and programs, including but not limited to performance management, talent management, learning and development, and the compensation review process
Act as Etsy’s liaison with payroll and benefits vendors
Conduct benefits administration
Be the face of Etsy! Assist in reviewing employee relations issues
Manage payroll operations for exempt and non-exempt employees
Assist in the design and implementation of future employee programs (e.g. learning and development)
Assist in global integration of international employees
Assist in performance management and compensation processes
Liaise with Recruiting in creating and streamlining onboarding and orientation processes
Assist in implementation of various training programs (e.g. sexual harassment, manager training etc)
Maintain organized employee personnel records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
Assist with HR projects and ad hoc requests, including headcount analytics, resource planning, talent management, immigration, and other projects and responsibilities as needed
Manage day-to-day operational assistance on human resources matters
Establish strong working partnerships cross functionally and globally
Maintain ad-hoc HR operations reports and spreadsheets (e.g. headcount, recruiting metrics, org chart)
Conduct exit interviews

We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years of HR experience with exposure to HR functions who are technically proficient with Mac based user experience, Excel and Google Applications. You must be a quick learner and customer-oriented (in our case, that’s our employees)!
