We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic HR Analyst to work across the HR Team with a keen eye for analytics. If you’re looking to work with a great team to develop day-to-day reporting and ad-hoc analysis for stuff that has real business impact, this is your job. Primary functions will be to analyze and select benefit brokers, healthcare plans that are best for the company; help drive compensation strategy; manage survey data and vendors; and play a key role in our annual review process by working with the HR Team to plan budget & coordinate. Finally, in this role you will also own all Immigration requests for a growing company and be the point person for the company’s 401k plan

Compensation Responsibilities

Provide analytical and project management support for HR initiatives

Participate in the ongoing design and implementation of new HR programs.

Support the development, implementation and administration of compensation policies and programs, continually searching for process improvements and efficiencies.

Support competitive market analysis of employee compensation, and participation in compensation surveys.

Develop communication materials related to compensation programs and document procedures in order to streamline current processes.

Job description development and updates

Evaluate existing and proposed jobs and classify them in existing leveling system

Manage HRIS system and run reports as requested

Benefits Responsibilities

Oversee and administer benefits for multi-state locations, managing relationships with brokers and vendors and acting as the subject matter expert for staff

Manage healthcare enrollment process, as well as 401k plans

Manage/administer leaves of absences in accordance with state specific laws and OKL’s P&P

Continuously keep up to date with current benefit trends & HCR

Verify I-9’s and audit for updates

Ensure compliance with COBRA administration

Manage FSA and Commuter Benefit programs

Ensure tracking and compliance with HCSO & Paid Sick Time for San Francisco based employees

Help build and bring ideas to the table regarding benefits related programs (ie: health and wellness fairs, benefits 101 for new staff, etc.)

Handle all worker’s comp and unemployment claims with the HR Team

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field, or commensurate experience required. Master’s degree desirable

3-5 years of analytics experience required. Strong consultative skills and the ability to build solid relationships with the HR team, cross-functional internal partners and external providers/vendors

Stellar written and verbal communication and presentation skills with attention to detail and service follow-up

Must possess excellent business acumen

A problem solver

Experience with multi-state benefits administration

Expert in MS Excel and other business tools and software. Familiar with HRIS tools and reporting capabilities

Ability to work independently and be proactive in a high performance environment, possess a strong sense of ownership and accountability

Extreme attention to detail and ability to multi-task

Ability to build positive working relationships across the organization at all levels

Ability to generate accurate data, and to participate in the analysis and communication to a variety of audiences

Has lead as well as participated in projects requiring analytical review and critical thinking

Experience working in a fast-paced environment; working in a start-up or in ecommerce is a plus

Highest professional ethics and professional presence including the unwavering maintenance of business and employee confidentiality

Experience building benefits and implementing an HRIS system from the ground up is a plus

Certification is an added bonus
