The Human Resources Department is seeking a full time HR Associate to work Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm. Responsibilities include:
Assist the Director and Assistant Director in matters related to the HR Department. Provide secretarial support such as appointment scheduling, telephone coverage, typing of correspondence, memos, and reports.
Responsible for department filing system, establishing personnel records, completing criminal background record checks, FBI checks, and license and education verifications.
Administers the Performance Evaluation program for staff, including initial and annual evaluations, competencies, and coordinates updating all job descriptions.
Takes minutes at general staff meetings, assists with switchboard coverage.
Assists with new hire orientation, preparing notebooks, making name badges and providing backup to HR presentation.
Conduct volunteer interviews and monitor performance through supervisors.
Assist with recruitment of staff including review of resumes and conducting phone screens and reference checks.
High school diploma required. Some college preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
50 wpm typing speed
Ability to maintain confidentiality and privileged information, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently.
Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Human Resource related experience required; HRIS experience helpful.
Eagleville Hospital, located in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, is a private non-profit organization dedicated to the treatment, education, and prevention of substance abuse, co-occurring disorders, and acute psychiatric disorders. The hospital serves as a regional resource for the treatment and prevention of alcohol and drug abuse, as well as a national resource for training and research for addiction and related conditions. The hospital also houses a geriatric psychiatry unit, which is short-term program for clients aged 55 years and older in need of a secure, therapeutic environment. The hospital also houses a 16-bed acute psychiatric unit.
