The H.R. Business Partner functions as the primary interface and strategic Human Resources partner to assigned business unit(s), providing a link from assigned area(s) to all areas of the centralized Human Resources functions. Maintains a broad knowledge of Employee Relations and Talent Management initiatives while providing consultation on a wide variety of Human Resources issues.
Bachelor's degree, preferably in field of sociology, psychology, human resources management or business.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Human Resources experience, preferably greater than 5 years with progressive responsibility.
Demonstrated experience in performance improvement initiatives and methodologies.
Direct experience facilitating/administering style assessments (i.e. MBTI, DISC, etc.) and/or competencies to target development.
Excellent interpersonal skills - flexible and available to work with employees at all levels.
Excellent verbal, facilitation and written communication skills.
Demonstrated conflict management and problem solving skills.
Strong decision making, critical thinking and listening skills.
Demonstrated ability to develop strong trusting relationships in order to gain support and achieve results.
Strong program/project management skills - the ability to multi-task and manage time in a complex environment.
Demonstrated ability to work in a self-directed, self-motivated environment.
