This position is responsible for providing leadership, planning and project coordination with Human Resource systems end-users to understand and analyze complex business problems and define business needs for new products, enhancements, services or optimized business processes. Is responsible for ensuring all stakeholders fully understand project scope, objectives and requirements. Track key project milestones and adjust project plans to meet the needs of HR customers. Communicate with all areas of the enterprise that impact the scope, risk and resources of the work effort being managed.
Duties & Responsibilities
Partner with HR end-users to understand and analyze complex business
problems and define business needs for new and/or enhanced products, services or optimized business processes.
Understand overall business objectives and priorities that demand HR Systems services.
Drive the development of business cases that include financial and/or process improvement benefits and leverage the HR Systems team to propose and estimate solutions that address the HR’s business needs.
For approved business cases, is responsible for ensuring that the HR Systems team fully understands the project scope, objectives and requirements.
Lead the discovery and conceptual design work required to translate business needs into solutions and features
Facilitate estimation of proposed solutions
Work closely with HR end-users to ensure that HR Technology roadmaps are focused on efforts that provide the highest business value
Elicit, capture, analyze and document business requirements
Research and analyze industry trends and benchmarking information as they apply to the HR’s business model
Provide information and advice on functionality, applicability, and usability of TU’s HR technology solutions
Identify project interdependencies
Collaborate with IT and HR end-users to define and develop process, procedural documentation, instructions, etc.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requires a BS/BA degree in a related field plus a minimum of 8 years of technical project-based experience. Requires a strong knowledge of HCM Industry (HR, LMS, Compensation, Benefits, Goal & Performance, and Recruiting) and a working knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM and Success Factors. Must have a solid understanding of application software development, IT and HR terminology and software, and maintain a working knowledge of new technology.
