The Human Resources Benefits Assistant works closely with

the Manager, Benefits &

Compensation and the Benefits Administrator.

This position consists of accurately keying employee data in the HRIS system.

This keypunching responsibility includes all aspects of employment, compensation and benefit administration.

Exceptional benefit understanding is essential.

The ability to communicate the benefit plan designs is needed.

Behaves in a professional, customer-focused, service-oriented manner displaying and promoting respect, care and dignity for all internal and external customers. Facilitates a team-oriented attitude, striving continuously for service excellence

Requirements:

Associate’s

Degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources or related field.

·

Two or more years of HR experience.

·

Knowledge of relevant federal, state and local regulations relating to Human Resources, i.e. Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Affirmative Action, ADA, FMLA.

·

Computer knowledge including Word Processing, Spreadsheet and Powerpoint.

The hours and days are somewhat flexible. Other schedules can be considered such as two eight hour days and one four hour day or 8 hours on Monday and three hours every other day. Mondays are important for Payroll keying and Benefit sign ups. Every other Tuesday and Wednesday the system isn't available due to Payroll processing. With that said, a consistent schedule is preferred so it can't be "flex hours".
